“Don’t Call Me ‘Inspirational’ Just Because I’m Disabled!”

As part of BBC Wales’ ‘Talk Disability’ season, myself and Emily Nicole Roberts were asked a few questions about creating ‘The i-Word’ and our thoughts on being called inspirational.

The i-Word is a brand-new comedy following the successes of two wannabe influencers, who have set out to become the online world’s favourite inter-abled couple. Co-writers and stars of the show Jake Sawyers and Emily Nicole Roberts reveal what inspired them to write the show and why being called ‘inspirational’ can sometimes be frustrating.
