Otto Weidt - 2026 Sharings

It’s been another exciting year for Otto Weidt’s Brush & Broom Workshop for the Blind, a new musical I’ve been helping to develop over the last few years, playing Otto Weidt.

Earlier this year we shared songs from the show at Australia House in London as part of an event with House of Oz, who are now supporting writers Caitlyn Burt and Amir Shoenfeld as they continue developing the musical alongside director Alex Bulmer.

We later performed more of the show at Constellations of Change, Ramps on the Moon’s event at the National Youth Theatre celebrating over ten years of its work challenging ableism and creating change across the theatre industry.

It’s been really exciting getting to share the show with two very different audiences this year and seeing how it continues to grow. I’m very lucky to still be along for the ride!
