Blind Matchmakers — ITV & ITVX

Blind Matchmakers has dropped and I’m buzzing to share a bit about it here!

Working on this show as Venetia Blind was total chaos but in the best way possible. Hosting alongside gems like @canseecantsee_ and @joysworldthepodcast, we got to explore something refreshingly light hearted and real, with other blind creatives right at the centre of it all.

The concept flips the usual dating show on its head. A trio of fierce, funny and unfiltered blind matchmakers guide blind and sighted singles through the awkward, the honest, the hilarious and the unexpected moments of dating. It’s a format that challenges assumptions and shows that love isn’t just about what you see, it’s about connection, intuition and personality and that perspective really shines through in every episode.

Being part of a show that genuinely centres blind voices and lived experience in a mainstream TV space was a highlight. The whole team brought energy, humour and heart and watching how we all leaned into our strengths was honestly one of my favourite experiences on camera so far.
